| Yet again my car is damaged. The only difference this time is it wasn't
my fault. However, I am still contemplating whether this fact adds or
subtracts from the situation at hand. But before I began my gruesome
tale, let's recap my six previous car accidents:
1. Scratched the back bumper of my car by slowly backing up into a small tree while trying to get out of a single-lane driveway
2. Scratched the front right side bumper (Cause: Unknown)
3. Scratched the driver's side back bumper against a fence at my school's parking lot
4. Tore the power steering tube underneath my car (Cause: Unknown)
5. Scratched the passenger's side back door against my friend Adora's car at my school's parking lot while trying to park my car
6. Scratched the passenger's side back bumper against my dad's car while trying to back up from my driveway
Wow!
That's a lot of accidents for someone who has only been driving for
four months. I should consider keeping a log book for all the accidents
I get in.

Now onto the accident, for lack of a better word, that occurred this past Sunday.
After
attending the Easter mass with my brothers at St Vincent de Paul, we
decided to go eat out. The restaurant of choice: Buca di Beppo. My
older brother Ryan had to go get some groceries and Jason had to go get
some school books at his apartment, so we decided that Mark and I would
go to the restaurant first to get a table.
Since the church
was on Bellaire and Buffalo Speedway, all I had to do was make a left
on Buffalo Speedway. But the problem was, I didn't know that at the
time. So instead of making a left, I made a right, which was in the
direction of Jason's apartment (Buffalo Speedway and 610). It wasn't
until I reached 610 that I realized my wrong. So like any sane person,
I decided I needed to make a U-Turn. However, I was on the farthest
right lane, so I carelessly decided to turn right on 610. I told myself
that I would make a U-Turn on the next street (Maine) and then a left
on Buffalo Speedway. However, yet again, when I turned left, I was not
in the lane to turn left onto 610. Since the left turn signal was red
and the light to go straight was green, I decided to head straight
towards Highway 90.
When I reached the first available exit
(Willowbend), I exited in order to make a U-Turn back towards 610.
However, halfway into the U-Turn, I unexpectedly heard a loud shatter.
At first, I thought I had ran over some broken glass. Luckily (insert
sarcasm), I soon realized, when I turned around, that three hoodlums
had vandalized my car by throwing a rock into my driver's side back
window. So like any other insane person would do, I stopped my car and
screamed, "What happened? Why did you do that for?" And the reply I got
back from one of the suspects was, "What are you going to do about it?"
Then they started to slowly approach my car with wooden bats in
hand. At that instant, I began eying down every single item in my car
looking for the best weapon to fight back with. The weapon of choice: a
basketball. Realizing my smarts would not get me through this battle, I
quickly sped away whist dialing 911.

sorry I chose to originally name my car 'Kimberly' instead of the more
beautiful 'Summer.' I only hope that you do not hold a grudge against
me because I wouldn't want you to get into more trouble than Kimberly
got into. Let's just forget about the past and think about the
wonderful future we will have together. And maybe, just maybe - one
day, we could have a threesome.

| Stupid me... Three days ago I wasted thirty minutes of my life comprising a list of all the upcoming superhero movies... And just today, Marvel released a list of all their upcoming films....
